Things are about to shift

Despite the silence, Between The Zones is not dead.

Because of many changes in our personal lives this year, we can't exist anymore in the same form that we were until 2013, but it doesn't mean the project won't continue.

I am moving to Paris to start a different life and a new job. As a consequence, BTZ has to adapt itself, and even if our live incarnation is uncertain at the moment, we still have things to say and music to record.

Moreover, 2015 will mark the 10th year of our audio wanderings, and we are going to make special releases throughout the year. I'll keep you informed with what we have in mind. In the meantime, stay tuned and check regularly www.betweenthezones.com (still relevant!)

Have a very merry end of 2014, and see you soon :)

Délivrances

Hey,

Not much news about BTZ these days (I'm the first to be sorry about it), but you can check out the other projects we are working on through Délivrances at www.delivrances.net

Basically Délivrances is a collective AND an independent netlabel we are puting together to regroup all our other bands, side-projects, etc. You can also visit our Facebook page! :)

Another review of Shiftings!

Hey there, long time no post :)

ExtremeUnderground posted a nice review of Shiftings, which you can read here.
Feel free to consult the other reviews of the album via our Press page!

In case you missed it, 2 live videos were added to our Youtube playlist lately.
  • The first one was recorded last year at the Secret Place in Montpellier, and features the song "Hippocampus" from Shiftings. Maxime (my little brother) was filling in for Nicolas on bass that night.

  • The second video is a very old one actually: it dates back to march 2010, when we played in Tours with Dexy Corp_ and Jabberwocky! It was a pre-version of the song "Cold shapes", which was entitled "Slack!" back in the day...

That's all for today! See you :)
